Resperate

Product Description

Introducing RESPeRATE, the interactive breathing device used by thousands of men and woman nationwide to gain control over high blood pressure. Used for just 15 minutes a few times a week, RESPeRATE delivers a significant all-day blood pressure reduction.

The Power to Lower Blood Pressure RESPeRATE is a portable, computerized electronic device that guides you through sessions of interactive, therapeutic breathing powerful enough to lower blood pressure.

The Power To Lower Blood Pressure

Using a breathing sensor, RESPeRATE automatically analyzes your individual breathing pattern and creates a personalized melody composed of two distinct inhale and exhale guiding tones, delivered through comfortable earphones.

Simply listen to the melody through the headphones and synchronize your breathing to the tones. By prolonging the exhalation tone RESPeRATE guides you to slow your breathing and reach the "therapeutic zone" of less than 10 breaths per minute.

The physiological result? The muscles surrounding the small blood vessels in your body dilate, and relax. Blood is allowed to flow more freely, and pressure is directly, significantly lowered.

Breathing with RESPeRATE makes the difference

Scientific evidence has shown that structured therapeutic breathing, if performed without an effort or particular concentration, can significantly lower your blood pressure. However, these effortless therapeutic breathing sessions are difficult to perform on your own without years of training or continuous, individualized coaching. That is why RESPeRATE was developed.

To deliver effortless therapeutic breathing without any prior training, RESPeRATE utilizes a patented "Interactive Respiratory Pacing" technology, which ingeniously takes advantage of the body's natural tendency to follow external rhythms.

And while your breathing returns to normal after each session with RESPeRATE, the beneficial impact on your blood pressure is cumulative. Bottom line: with regular use of RESPeRATE, measurable, sustained reduction in blood pressure is achieved.

How It Lowers Blood Pressure

High blood pressure is generally caused by your blood vessels tightening up and narrowing; this then causes your heart to pump harder. RESPeRATE's unique breathing exercise relaxes constricted blood vessels to reduce high blood pressure.

  • When you use RESPeRATE, you put on headphones and attach a sensor around your chest.
  • RESPeRATE's breathing sensor automatically analyzes your individual breathing pattern and creates a personalized melody composed of two distinct inhale and exhale guiding tones.
  • Simply listen to the melody through the headphones, and your body's natural tendency to follow external rhythms will enable you to easily synchronize your breathing to the tones.
  • By gradually prolonging the exhalation tone to slow your breathing, RESPeRATE leads you to the therapeutic zone of less than 10 breaths per minute.
  • Within a few minutes, the muscles surrounding the small blood vessels in your body relax, blood flows more freely, and your blood pressure is significantly reduced.

It's funny, when I tell people about it sometimes they tell me, "well this machine is kind of expensive" and I laugh. I respond by telling them "well, I used tp pay $400 a month in blood pressure medicine...-- Patricia,MO.

I have been flirting with hypertension for years. I have used acupuncture which was successfulfor 7 years. Then earlier this year I started to feel like my BP was going up and it was. It was 170/110. I restarted acupuncture again and the BP went down but would not stay down. Then I saw the ad for Resperate. I had seen an ad for it several years ago in a newspaper but nothing recently. I thought it was worth a try. I did all the life style things, like lose weight, reduce salt, stop caffeine but the BP was back up to 170/110 and sometimes higher. So I started it the end of may, and after about 3-4 weeks I started to get BP readings in the 120/87. I use it 5 times a weeknow or more ad sometimes the BP is 149/102, but usually it s 120-130 over 78-85. SO I am thrilled. I am not on any medication. I saw an MD the beginning of july and my BP in the office was 132/90. I have learned I need to do it 15 mi at timeand not 10 to be able to maintain the BP in the desirable range. Sometimes t is 115/78. SO I think it is certainly worth the time and effort.-- Ardean, WI..Aug 12, 2009.
